Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to Tech Mahindra employees via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain various software applications on user workstations.
  • Reset passwords, update software, and perform other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Tech Mahindra's IT infrastructure and policies.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to users to help them resolve technical problems.
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in desktop support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a desktop support or IT help desk role.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11).
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools (e.g., Remote Desktop Connection, TeamViewer).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to user satisfaction.

Experience

This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a desktop support or IT help desk role. Recent graduates with a strong foundation in IT fundamentals, a willingness to learn, and a passion for problem-solving are also encouraged to apply.
