Summary

We are searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented Back-Office Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across various departments. Your proficiency in financial processes, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in contributing to a productive and efficient work environment at PhonePe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned departments, handling tasks such as data entry, processing invoices and payments, managing vendor relations, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
  • Maintain and update internal databases and filing systems to ensure the accuracy and accessibility of financial information.
  • Assist with project coordination by gathering information, creating reports, and following up on deadlines.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare presentations and documents related to financial operations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to company style guidelines.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively, meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a back-office or financial support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles (preferred).

Experience

This role is a great fit for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a back-office or financial support role. Recent graduates with a strong academic background in commerce or finance, and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
