Summary

As a Computer Programmer at Infosys, you'll be a key player in the software development lifecycle. You'll work closely with designers, analysts, and other programmers to translate requirements into clean, efficient, and well-tested code. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your passion for programming, will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze software requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, test, and debug software applications using various programming languages and frameworks.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with other developers, designers, and testers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing to identify and resolve bugs.
Stay up-to-date on the latest programming languages, technologies, and trends.
Maintain and enhance existing software applications.
Prepare technical documentation as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
Experience with object-oriented programming principles (OOP).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
