Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our dynamic Audit & Assurance team. In this role, you'll collaborate with experienced auditors to perform financial statement audits in accordance with accounting standards and auditing regulations. You'll assess internal controls, analyze financial transactions, identify potential risks, and contribute to the preparation of audit reports. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will be instrumental in upholding Deloitte's reputation for excellence in auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Execution:
    • Participate in the planning and execution of financial statement audits for a variety of clients across different industries.
    • Conduct audit procedures to assess the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
    • Analyze financial transactions, test accounting estimates, and perform other audit procedures to obtain audit evidence.
    • Prepare audit working papers to document audit procedures performed and conclusions reached.
    • Identify potential risks of material misstatement and assist in developing appropriate audit responses.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work collaboratively with senior auditors and partners to ensure the smooth execution of audit engagements.
    • Effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and engagement teams.
    • Maintain clear and concise audit documentation to support the audit opinion.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay up-to-date on accounting standards, auditing pronouncements, and regulatory developments.
    • Actively participate in training programs to enhance your auditing skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or actively pursuing).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
